The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:Blending of surfaces and applying or removing excess material with hand tools or machinerySet-up and use of various machines, fixtures and tools.Part modification to specificationsMixing production materialsMust follow production specifications at all timesEmbrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activitiesMaintain department safety and housekeeping standardsEnsure compliance with Quality Control Manual (QCM)Must be aware of ISO - Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirementsEnsure compliance with Company RSM, must be aware of ISO/TCS quality requirementsAdhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job dutiesAdhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical StandardsRegular and reliable attendancePerforming other tasks in the facility as neededQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorilyList the requirements below that are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully accomplish the essential duties of the job.Previous metal working experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to read, write and speak in English.Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.Ability to use handheld measuring tools.Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team.List preferred job related qualifications if different from above.Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writingList the level of education and/or experience needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties of this job.High School diploma or equivalent5 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentBasic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and familiarity with Microsoft packages.
