While the job requires strong initiative and a positive attitude, results are achieved with and through the people you’ll be working with.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, a qualified individual must be able to satisfactorily perform the following essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation:Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customers, managing daily communication, service expectations, and shipment needs.Coordinate all aspects of Single Source customers LTL and TL business, including booking, scheduling, aligning carrier capacity and tracking shipments.Oversee shipments entire life cycle from order creation through final delivery, ensuring on-time performance through proactive communication with customers and carriers.Take a lead role in issue (Internal and external) resolution, identifying service risks early and executing recovery plans to protect customer commitments.Manage multiple customer and carrier priorities, maintaining accuracy and urgency in a fast-paced environment. Ability to manage multiple spreadsheets, customer portals/TMS platforms, ensuring accurate data entry, shipment visibility, and timely updates across all systems.Monitor transportation costs, service levels, and carrier performance, providing recommendations to optimize customer supply chains.Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution and strong customer experience.Communicate logistical challenges clearly and professionally, offering impact analysis and alternative solutions to both customers and internal teams.Other duties or responsibilities will be assigned based on new or existing customer requirements.QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.NICE TO HAVESKILLS & ABILITIES:1-3 years of experience preferred but not required.Ability to energize and influence change efforts at all levels of a complex organization.Knowledge of manufacturing, logistics, warehousing and transportation in a highly regulated industry.Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to interface and influence at all organizational levels.Excellent understanding of data analytic and statistical tools, capable of explaining the underlying concepts and principles.Demonstrated use of Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).Track record of delivering results with a passion to win.Strong business and financial acumen.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent decision-making skills, considering all relevant factors and stakeholders.Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
