Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid / Onsite)Employment Type: Full-TimeExperience Required: 10+ YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure modernization, CI/CD automation, and platform engineering initiatives in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Ansible), Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD pipeline automation, and Linux systems administration.This role requires hands-on engineering experience building secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms while supporting production reliability, deployment acceleration, and infrastructure governance.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud environments.Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform with modular architecture, remote state management, and automated provisioning.Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management, server automation, and application deployment.Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Git-based workflows.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.Implement GitOps deployment methodologies and automate release orchestration.Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route53, ELB/ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront, and API Gateway.Support enterprise Kubernetes environments including ingress management, RBAC, networking, and cluster operations.Configure and manage Nginx reverse proxy, SSL termination, and application routing.Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK, Nagios, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and Grafana.Automate operational workflows using Python and Shell scripting.Drive root cause analysis (RCA), incident remediation, and proactive platform improvements.Implement cloud security best practices including IAM governance, encryption, Linux hardening, and patch compliance.Partner with application, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver resilient cloud solutions.Optimize cloud usage and improve deployment efficiency through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.10+ years of DevOps / Systems Engineering experience with strong cloud transformation exposure.5+ years of hands-on AWS engineering experience.Strong expertise in:Terraform (modules, workspaces, remote backend, state management)Ansible (playbooks, roles, inventory management)Jenkins CI/CDDocker & Kubernetes (Amazon EKS preferred)Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)Experience with source control platforms (GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket, GitFlow).Proficiency in Python, Bash, YAML, and REST API integrations.Experience supporting production environments and implementing automation at scale.
