CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Job Description Summary - CNC MachinistWe have openings for experienced CNC Mill and Lathe Machinists. This role is responsible for producing precision parts for the aerospace industry utilizing CNC machinery. This will include setting up, operating, and checking produced parts for quality assurance against blueprints or other shop specifications.Benefits Summary – CNC MachinistStable company that provides steady hours and work.Great benefits package including, health, vision, dental, 401(k) match.4-10 shift schedule with day and night shift openings Up to 2 hours of flex time per week so you don't need to take time off for every little thing that comes up in life.Competitive pay dependent on experience.Paid plant shutdown between Christmas and New years 2 weeks of PTO Sick leaveShiftMonday - Thursday 4pm to 2:30amResponsibility Summary – CNC MachinistSet up mills and/or lathes for new production runs.Operate mills and/or lathes to produce finished parts.Check parts for quality assurance using blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to verify specifications.Qualification Summary – CNC MachinistHigh school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is preferred.Ability to perform setups proficiently Programming experience preferred High mechanical aptitude.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).Ability to regularly lift 30-50 pounds.HP
