Situated near Leawood, KS, this onsite position provides the opportunity to play an essential role within an engaging, collaborative school environment serving Kindergarten through 5th grade students.As a valued member of the building team, you will utilize your expertise in student assessment, intervention strategies, and psychological services to directly impact student success. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in a supportive setting, working closely with student intervention and crisis response teams while contributing to holistic student growth.Key Qualifications:Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related fieldValid state licensure/certification for School PsychologistsExperience supporting elementary-aged students (K-5 preferred)Proficiency with IEPs, evaluations, and compliance proceduresAbility to participate effectively in a multidisciplinary team settingStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsRole Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for studentsCollaborate in the Student Intervention Team and Building Crisis TeamDevelop, review, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)Participate in problem-solving processes for at-risk studentsProvide consultation and support to teachers, administrators, and familiesOffer crisis intervention and prevention services as neededMaintain accurate records and follow all compliance and confidentiality regulationsThis assignment runs from July 30th to June 2nd with full-time, onsite hours (37.5 per week).
