Physician Assistant | Surgery - Vascular Location: Ohio Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAPAbout the PositionLocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Vascular Surgery PA in Ohio!We are seeking a Cardiovascular & Thoracic Physician Assistant for a 14-day assignment in Ohio, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This role features 12-hour shifts, encompassing night call or day rounding (7am-5pm or 6pm-6am). Responsibilities involve managing routine cardiothoracic cases such as CABG, valve procedures, complex aorta, lobectomies, and VATS, with occasional ECMO involvement.Responsibilities and DutiesHandle 12-hour night call or day rounding shifts.Work shifts including 7am-5pm rounding or 6pm-6am call.Maintain a 30-minute response time from the hospital during call shifts; accommodation provided if not local.Respond to approximately 7% of calls, with most manageable by phone, and an expectation of being called in about once every ten shifts.Manage routine cardiothoracic cases, including CABG, valve procedures, complex aorta, lobectomy cases, and VATS.Provide care for occasional ECMO patients, without involvement in advanced heart failure, VAD, or transplant cases.Perform vein harvesting, utilizing endoscopic techniques with Maquet Hemopro 2.Additional InformationEMR: EpicBenefitsStrong compensationTravel-related expenses coveredA-rated medical malpractice insurance providedDedicated recruiter for future travel opportunitiesWhat are Locum Tenens Jobs?Locum tenens jobs, sometimes referred to as travel assignments, are contract positions that help meet patient care needs at various healthcare facilities and hospitals for a defined period.
