Job Description:
This ambitious Inside Sales Executive will join our rapidly growing team. If you are energetic, upbeat, and have a passion for growing new client relationships and generating solutions Fabric Images may have just the role for you. The position involves establishing new clients, maintaining, and growing existing client relationships organically through the introduction of new products. Taking ownership of new incoming accounts and conceptualizing solutions for your clients' design requests. You will become familiar with our manufacturing process to help select the right combination of materials to assist customers in creating 3D spaces for events, trades show, retail and commercial spaces, and museums. An understanding of design and architecture with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills offered by Fabric Images within the interiors, display and acoustic world. This position also requires participation in and attendance in appropriate Company Meetings, Trade Shows, Business Development functions, etc.
A typical day in the role will involve hunting for new business, fielding incoming client requests and analyzing the basic mechanics to generate the best Fi brand solution. You will become familiar with our manufacturing processes and how our profile systems work to lead clients in the right direction for their display, interior and acoustic needs. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills are a must.
Job Responsibilities
Develop client relationships through interaction by phone, market visits and email
Maintain CRM data base on all activity
Participate in weekly sales meeting with Sales Manager
Prompt, professional response to client inquiries
Resolve client/project discrepancies through persuasive negotiation in coordination with sales operation team needs and client expectations
Understand clients’ current and future business needs for new and organic growth opportunities
Serve as liaison between client and various inside departments including (but not limited to): communicating solutions for product needs, order status along with production and timing concerns, passing along written estimates, as well as shipping and tracking details. Superior ability to communicate production capabilities with clients to manage expectations
Requirements
Two years of college preferred
Five years business-to-business outside sales experience preferred, but NOT REQUIRED
Ability to use CRM to its fullest potential
Desire to work in dynamic and fast paced team-centered environment
Strong PC skills using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Must be able to plan ahead, stay organized and follow through
Strong problem-solving ability with an attention to detail
Technical, mechanical and mathematical aptitude
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in conflict resolution
Able to multi-task and effectively prioritize, exhibit time management ability
