Manufacturing Engineer
We're hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support operational performance and drive continuous improvement across a high-volume production environment. This role will play a key part in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing material flow, and improving overall efficiency across the line. The position offers strong visibility across operations and engineering, with accountability for driving sustainable improvements in cost, quality, and productivity.Key Responsibilities:Lead process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and product quality across the production linePartner closely with operations, materials, and engineering teams to identify and execute improvement opportunitiesEvaluate and refine manufacturing methods, including material presentation and line-side processesSupport cost reduction efforts through value engineering, labor efficiency improvements, and process redesignAnalyze make vs. buy decisions for components and subassemblies, identifying opportunities for internal optimizationImplement error-proofing solutions and leverage manufacturing technologies (MES or similar systems) to enhance process controlDevelop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials to support standardized operationsDrive continuous improvement activities including Kaizen events, productivity initiatives, and rapid improvement projectsCollect and analyze production data (cycle times, weights, dimensions, etc.) to improve planning and process consistencyCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between design, manufacturing, and supply chain executionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering within a production environmentStrong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)Experience working with manufacturing systems such as MES, CAD, or PLM tools preferredWorking knowledge of quality and process control tools (FMEA, control plans, or similar)Ability to analyze and improve production workflows, material flow, and line efficiencyStrong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to driving improvements on the floorEffective communicator who can collaborate across engineering, operations, and supply chain teamsWhy This Role:Direct impact on manufacturing performance, cost savings, and operational efficiencyHigh visibility across plant leadership and cross-functional teamsOpportunity to lead continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic production environmentExposure to both strategic process design and hands-on manufacturing execution
