This includes providing leadership and support to production supervisors and teams, monitoring workflow and staffing, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste. The Head of Production will also be responsible for fostering a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to align production goals with business objectives. Applicants for the Head of Production position at the company should ideally hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have a background in manufacturing or production operations with a focus on leadership. The role requires a strong understanding of production planning, process improvement, and operational management, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with manufacturing systems, production reporting tools, and certifications such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OSHA Safety, and Project Management are preferred.
