We’re seeking an experienced grower who is passionate about the plant, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in every stage of cultivation.
Position OverviewThe Experienced Cannabis Cultivation Grower will be responsible for the daily operations of the grow, from seed/clone to harvest, ensuring all practices follow Colorado and MED guidelines. This role requires advanced knowledge of plant biology, environmental controls, pest management, and nutrient programs, as well as a thorough understanding of regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Execute all cultivation activities including propagation, transplanting, training, pruning, defoliation, watering, IPM (Integrated Pest Management), nutrient application, and harvesting.
Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
Maintain strict adherence to Colorado MED compliance requirements, including proper tracking in Metrc and accurate recordkeeping.
Calibrate and monitor environmental systems (temperature, humidity, CO₂, lighting).
Follow and enforce sanitation protocols to maintain a clean, pest- and disease-free environment.
Accurately track inventory, plant movement, and all cultivation data per state and facility SOPs.
Assist in training and supervising cultivation staff as needed.
Collaborate with management to improve cultivation methods and yield.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in licensed commercial cannabis cultivation in Colorado or another regulated state.
Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis plant biology, cultivation techniques, and pest/disease management.
Familiarity with Colorado MED rules and regulations, including Metrc tracking and reporting.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs).
Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a Colorado MED background check.
Preferred Skills
Experience with large-scale cultivation environments.
Knowledge of hydroponic and soil-based growing systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills for both plant health and mechanical/environmental systems.
