Manager, Global Sponsorship New Business DevelopmentNew York, New York, United StatesThe Manager, Global Sponsorship New Business Development, is a key member of the Business Development team responsible for generating revenue by developing and selling integrated marketing partnerships for the NFL globally.This position will work collaboratively across the NFL to identify partnerships that support key initiatives such as NFL FLAG, International growth, audience growth across youth, multicultural and women, and game innovation.Responsibilities:Responsible for developing global pipeline and executing partnerships with blue-chip brands to reach Sponsorship revenue goalsCultivate global and local market category prospects through category analysis and market research, with a focus on international markets without a dedicated new business resourceEstablish and build relationships with key external contacts (e.g., corporate decision makers at Fortune 500 companies and influencers in the sports marketing and agency world)Pursue prospects through contact strategy, development, and delivery of sales presentations, negotiation, and contract executionActively contribute innovative thinking and fresh ideas that help lead to new revenue-generating sponsorship opportunities and contribute to cross-functional working groups consisting of key internal stakeholders (e.g., Media, IT, Football Operations, Social Responsibility, etc.) to develop customized marketing platforms that align with prospective partner objectivesDevelop and write strategic, customized presentations and partnership proposals for prospectsEffectively maintain sales pipeline and reporting documents, as well as other duties as directedHelp manage Sponsorship Business Development Senior Coordinator contributions to the team in partnership with the Senior DirectorRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5+ years of sponsorship sales and/or business development experience at league, team, agency and/or companyPreferred Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communicator; ability to build trusted relationships and influence across all levels both internally and externallyProficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPointOther Key Attributes / Talent Characteristics:Energetic, self-starter with a passion for uncovering synergies between Fortune 500 brands and the NFLStrong knowledge of sports marketing and/or sponsorship landscapeProficient in conducting industry research, prospecting, outreach, pitch ideation, and proposal developmentExcellent written and verbal communicatorAbility to build trusted relationships and influence across all levels, both internally and externallyExperienced in leveraging your network to initiate and develop relationships with senior-level marketing executivesPhysical Demands:N/ATravel:Travel as needed for new business meetings (expected 10 percent of time)Terms /Expected Hours of Work:Expected 40-hour work week with limited weekend travelSalary / Pay Range:$95,000 - $110,000 USDBenefits Information To learn more about our comprehensive benefits offerings, please visit: NFL BENEFITSAt the NFL, in-person work at our offices is a top priority because it allows us to collaborate more effectively, build stronger connections, and maintain the culture that drives our success.
