Electrical Estimator

Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Electrical Contractor in the Greater Atalnta, GA area that has the need for an Electrical Estimator to assist in bidding commercial and industrial electrical projects. Design-build experience a plus.The Electrical Estimator receives project plans and scope of work documentation, reviews them and prepares cost estimates that ensure the scope of work contained in the Request for Proposal has been covered.This position will assist with the project through completion and participate in a close-out meeting to ensure that feedback is reflected in future estimates.ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIESPerform responsibilities with excellence in service, integrity and building relationships as exemplified in our core valuesCoordinate and assist the project team in establishing the project scope and standards of construction projectsDistribute bid documents to ensure complete and competitive prices from subcontractorsGather, calculate and compile data for use in bid proposal estimatesReview drawings for constructabilityMaintain Estimating database with current contractorsAssist with the conceptual estimating, including quantity takeoffsAttend design meetings, team meetings and bid day pricingBuild relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and design teamsPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills4+ years of applicable industry estimating experienceExperience in estimating Design-build projectsQuantity take-off experience using "On Screen Take Off"Detailed scope writing experiencePricing experience and reviewing vendor quotationsPresentation experienceDecision making, research and analytical problem solving skillsTime management with the ability to organize, assess and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and demands, and to work independentlyPossess strong verbal and written communication skills, and interact effectively at all levels within the organizationMS Office – Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook experience - (Conest a plus)Commercial / Residential construction industry experienceBlueprint Reading experienceThe base salary for this position ranges based on experience / $100k - $140k depending on experienceFull Medical, Dental, and 401k Benefits as well as PTOTiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Your Right to Work - In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
