An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. We are a leading construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the commercial sector. This role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to manage and oversee the electrical aspects of our projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in project management within the construction industry. This is a permanent position that requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Lead and support Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and field truck teams across assigned projects
* Set clear project goals, scopes, and deliverables, and create practical execution plans to guide teams from start to finish
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
* Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships to keep projects moving smoothly and support future business
* Coordinate field and administrative teams to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards
* Identify risks or issues early and take corrective action to keep projects on track
* Represent the company in client meetings, planning sessions, and project reviews
* Oversee project financials, including contracts, invoicing, equipment rentals, and cost controls
* Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance support to Project Managers as needed
* Support additional project or operational needs as they arise
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field OR 7+ years of progressive experience in construction, design, or project management
* Proven leadership experience, including direct supervision and team management
* Strong project management skills with the ability to drive results through effective planning and execution
* Solid understanding of construction industry practices, internal processes, and project controls
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach
* Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize complex information
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Experience creating and managing project documentation such as reports, quotes, invoices, and work orders
* Familiarity with Rogers Electric systems or similar project/work order management platforms preferred
