When these leaders have the opportunity to succeed, their communities, their residents - and our country - thrive.Position SummaryThe video and photography intern reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications for Content and supports the creation and editing of video and photography, creating original content for each of Momentus Capital's business lines. The person holding this position is a strong visual storyteller and creator of work that is visually appealing, compelling, emotionally engaging and conveys key messages.This person holding this position can work remotely, with the expectation that a majority of hours will overlap with Eastern Standard Time business hours.This position offers flexibility as either a full-time or part-time temporary role (20-40 hours per week). The internship will run from June 1, 2026, through August 31, 2026.RequirementsEssential ResponsibilitiesSupport the technical production or updating of short-form videos using existing interviews, b-roll, or interviews captured over zoom. Note: all final video products must be viewable on Mac OSOrganize and log existing raw b-roll. Ensure individual hard drives are labeled and content is easy to navigate by third parties. Upload b-roll to cloud-based company serversSupport the editing of staff-supplied photography and headshotsOrganize, log, and upload photography to company digital asset management systemHelp maintain and update company branded YouTube channels including uploading videos and thumbnails, updating video descriptions, maintaining video channels, etcProfessional Skills, Education And ExperienceCurrent undergraduate (junior or senior preferred) or graduate student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related fieldProficiency in video editing using Adobe Premiere with the ability to manipulate video clips, audio tracks, text, graphics, and effectsProficiency in photo editing using Adobe PhotoshopProficiency in working with animation is helpful but not requiredTech savvy and has knowledge of the latest and emerging photo/video/audio tools and trendsVersed in the nuances and best practices for distribution platforms, such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and InstagramBasic knowledge of graphic design is helpfulExcellent organizational, time and project management skills to effectively execute many concurrent tasksPositive attitude and flexibilityCreative problem solverCollaborative work style, team playerCreative and enthusiasticGood communications (verbal and written), research and interpersonal skills maintaining a professional onset demeanorBenefitsThe salary range for this position is $20 - $22 an hour, and includes sick leave.This role is primarily remote with the flexibility to come in office in DC.All employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
