Video Producer
Calling all professional video storytellers! Leidos seeks a full-time Creative Video Producer at its Reston VA location. This on-location position allows for partial remote work.The Creative Video Producer is a hands-on, script-to-screen storyteller, responsible for producing high-quality branded video content that supports enterprise storytelling across marketing, communications, and brand experiences. Candidates should have experience in all aspects of video production, particularly videography, editing and motion graphics. 3D animation and VFX ability is a plus!Working within the Creative Studio, the Video Producer partners with designers, writers, content leads, and stakeholders to deliver video content for digital platforms, social media, executive communications, advertising, and experiential environments. This role balances hands-on production with thoughtful use of AI-assisted video tools to improve efficiency while maintaining creative and editorial integrity.See some of our work here: https://f.io/YrGUCnhQPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESGuide video projects from concept through final delivery, including:Scriptwriting and story developmentVideography, lighting, and audio recordingEditing and finishingProduce video content for:Marketing and promotional initiativesSocial media and digital platformsExecutive communicationsTrade shows and eventsOperate professional-grade video, audio, and lighting equipmentCreate and integrate motion graphics and animated elementsApply editorial judgment to refine creative outputs into polished, brand-aligned deliverablesUse AI-assisted video and content tools to:Support ideation, scripting, and storyboardingAssist with rough cuts, transcription, captioning, and versioningImprove production efficiency while maintaining qualityCollaborate with designers, content partners, and stakeholdersSupport coordination with vendors, freelancers, and external crews as neededManage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyBASIC / REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of experience in video production. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree requirements.US citizenship is required for this positionA link to sample work or demo reelProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar professional editing software)Skilled with motion graphics, preferably Adobe After EffectsExperienced in operating professional-grade cameras (e.g., Sony FS7/FX9, Blackmagic Ursa, Canon EOS C70 or similar)Experienced in professional production lighting, particularly for studio/greenscreen scenariosPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience using AI-assisted video, audio, or content generation tools for editing, transcription, captioning, scripting, or visual enhancementFamiliarity with responsible and brand-safe use of AI tools in a corporate or regulated environmentExperience with 3D animation like Cinema 4D, Blender, or Unreal EngineExperience with compositing/VFXExposure to trade show, event, or experiential video productionGood visual design sensibilities and storytelling instinctsWillingness to learn new tools and workflowsIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
