A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 0.9 FTE position with 36 guaranteed hours per week • Weekends and on-call/call back responsibilities as needed • Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles required • Must be a team player, flexible, and adaptable to fast-paced environment • At least one 13-week previous travel assignment required • Two years current experience in specialty required • EPIC experience preferred; training available on-site • Utilize nursing process to provide direct patient care to assigned group of patients • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document individual patient needs and responses • Coordinate patient care through collaboration with patient/family and healthcare team • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols • Provide clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel • Complete patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required • New Mexico or Compact State nursing license required • BLS certification required through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross • English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing required Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community, focusing on delivering safe, effective, patient-centered care.
