Technical Writer (Cybersecurity)

Position Title: Technical WriterLocation: Stennis, MSEmployment Type: Full‑TimeSalary Range: $72,000 - $84,000Citizenship: U.S. Citizen requiredPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support the development of clear, accurate, and high‑quality technical documentation in a cybersecurity environment. This role is responsible for translating complex technical and cyber concepts into well‑structured documentation for a variety of stakeholders, working closely with subject‑matter experts (SMEs) in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment.The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT and cybersecurity documentation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to synthesize technical data into usable, audience‑appropriate materials.Required QualificationsMinimum three (3) years of experience preparing and writing complex technical documentationMinimum two (2) years of experience specializing in IT technical writingExperience working in a cybersecurity or IT environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical conceptsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access for reporting and data analysisAbility to read, interpret, and extract information from security and technical documentationCertificationsAt least one active certification, such as:CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ISC2 CISSPOr other comparable certification (subject to Government PM approval)Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Business, Cybersecurity, or a related fieldPrior experience as a technical writer in a cybersecurity environmentStrong interpersonal, collaboration, and stakeholder‑engagement skillsAbility to produce high‑quality content under tight deadlinesKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare, write, edit, and maintain complex technical documentation related to IT and cybersecurity operationsCollaborate closely with technical and cybersecurity SMEs to gather information and clarify requirementsTranslate technical, cyber, and security concepts into clear, concise, and well‑organized documentationReview security documentation and extract relevant security control information as neededSupport reporting efforts through data mining, correlation, and analysis using Microsoft Excel and AccessEnsure documentation is accurate, consistent, and aligned with applicable standards and requirementsManage multiple documentation tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentWhy Join UsSupport mission‑critical cybersecurity and IT programsWork directly with technical experts and leadershipProduce documentation that directly supports security operations and complianceBenefits OverviewCorinth offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees’ health, well‑being, and financial security.
