Job Description
We are a newly established electrical contractor looking to expand and grow our team. We currently have 1–2 employees assisting in day-to-day operations and are looking to bring on someone experienced in residential service and sales (commercial experience is a plus).Honesty is the foundation of our company, our reputation, and our brand. There is zero tolerance for cutting corners, misleading customers, or upselling unnecessary work. If you are not aligned with this standard, this is not the position for you.This role requires someone who is comfortable dealing directly with homeowners, discussing pricing, and estimating work on-site. You must present yourself professionally and communicate clearly and honestly at all times.The position may begin as hourly but will transition into a performance-based, incentive-driven role.We are in a growth phase — while we are actively building consistent workflow, work is not always guaranteed yet. We will do everything possible to keep the schedule full and are looking for someone who understands and is willing to grow with the company.Requirements5–10+ years of electrical experience (REQUIRED)Strong background in residential service work (commercial is a plus)Must have all hand tools and power toolsClean, professional appearanceValid driver’s license with clean recordAbility to pass background checkMust be respectful, reliable, and honestJob SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential service work, with commercial and industrial experience considered a plus. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot efficiently, and communicate directly with customers while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and honesty.DutiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standardsDiagnose and troubleshoot residential electrical issues efficientlyRead and interpret blueprints and technical diagramsCommunicate directly with homeowners, explain issues, and present solutions clearlyProvide accurate pricing and close jobs in an honest and professional mannerUtilize hand tools, power tools, meters, and testing equipmentPerform routine maintenance to ensure system performanceCollaborate with team members on installs and job completionFollow all safety protocols, especially when working with high voltage systemsConduct inspections to identify hazards and necessary repairsExperienceMinimum 5–10 years of electrical experience requiredProven experience in residential service work is requiredCommercial and/or industrial experience is a plusStrong understanding of NEC regulations and complianceAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsExperience working in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a teamIf you are a skilled electrician who takes pride in doing things the right way and values honesty above all else, we encourage you to apply.Company DescriptionHonest Hank’s Electrician is a growing electrical contractor focused primarily on residential service, with some light commercial work.
