This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within an innovative environment that values continuous improvement and technical excellence. *Duties* * Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional aspects. * Execute manual and automated tests across multiple platforms such as Android, iOS, web browsers, and desktop environments using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber. * Perform mobile testing on various devices to validate app performance, usability, compatibility, and responsiveness for both Android and iOS operating systems. * Conduct API testing utilizing RESTful APIs with tools like Postman or SoapUI; analyze responses to verify data integrity and system integration. * Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps to automate build processes and streamline testing workflows. * Perform performance testing with LoadRunner or similar tools to assess system stability under load; analyze results to identify bottlenecks and optimize performance. * Track defects meticulously using defect tracking tools such as HP ALM or Jira; collaborate with developers for timely resolution and retesting. * Engage in user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders to validate that the software meets business needs before release. * Analyze test data using SQL queries in MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server; perform root cause analysis on issues to facilitate quick resolution. * Support system troubleshooting efforts by debugging code in Java, C#, Python, or other scripting languages; contribute to quality assurance documentation and reporting. *Experience* * Proven experience in software testing within an Agile environment; familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies such as Waterfall or Scrum. * Hands-on expertise with automation frameworks like Selenium WebDriver integrated with TestNG or JUnit for regression testing. * Strong knowledge of mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms; experience with device farms or emulators is preferred. * Proficiency in API testing using RESTful services; understanding of JSON/XML data formats is essential. * Experience working with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or SVN; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable. * Ability to perform SQL database queries (PL/SQL or T-SQL) for data validation during tests; experience with MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server is a plus. * Excellent analytical skills for data analysis, defect tracking, and troubleshooting complex issues across diverse systems. * Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks; experience with scripting enhances test efficiency. * Familiarity with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter; understanding of system architecture including SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), AWS cloud services, and network concepts is beneficial.
