Devereux/TCV Community Services is Hiring for a Full-Time Diversion & Acute Stabilization (DAS) Psychiatric Counselor Being a DAS Psychiatric Counselor at Devereux/TCV has its Advantages: As a DAS Psychiatric Counselor at Devereux/TCV, you will work with other dedicated professionals who want to improve the lives of individuals with mental health and other disabilities. Pay Range: From $20/hour up to $25/hour, based on education and related experience. Work Schedule for this Full-Time position: Saturday through Wednesday from 3p to 11p Position location: Homestead, PA *$2,500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Position. What to Expect: TCV is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and responsible person to join the treatment team serving adults with behavioral health challenges. Encourage individuals to meet their recovery goals, i.e., actively participate in treatment and therapeutic activities to enhance their lives. Monitor individuals’ physical and emotional well-being, use de-escalation and emergency techniques, when necessary, Develop and teach strategies to promote wellness and independence. Collaborate with the treatment team including but not limited to psychiatrist, therapist, nurses and service coordinators. Qualifications (must): (Note: all required documents and tests paid by employer) Bachelor's degree in social/human services, or related field, required. Prior experience working in social services with adults with behavioral health disorders, highly preferred. 18 years of age or older required. Valid driver's license & 3 years of a clean driving record. Agree to a PA state criminal history, child abuse record and FBI Clearance.
