Closely interact with the Account Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, Technicians, and material suppliers to ensure the timely completion of deliverables. Coordinating selection, pricing, equipment, controls, and services for each project.Job Type: Full-TimeWorkplace Type: Hybrid: Flex for your day, 3 days per week in personRequired to be in the office 5 days per week during the first 3 months of the training period.Office Location: Gaithersburg, MDFLSA Status: ExemptEssential DutiesCreating cost estimates consisting of materials, sub-contractors, purchased equipment, labor (start-up, service work, etc.), and other construction-related activities. Develop associated scopes of work.Works closely with sales personnel, technicians & vendors to gather relevant cost estimate input.Multi-tasking and organization are key to success. Reading, analyzing, and interpreting service bulletins, technical procedure manuals, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, clients, and staff.Defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Documents work by maintaining files for each job.Use Trane and Vendor Software tools and other required estimating tools.Other duties as assignedEducation And Experience RequirementsAssociate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceKnowledgeable on how HVAC systems work including understanding the refrigeration cycleMinimum of 2 years of hands-on technical experience in the HVAC Service Industry Proficient in MS Office Suite Ability to interact with all levels of managementStrong math skills, problem solver with attention to detailGreat communications and writing skillsClient service-oriented, team player, deadline-orientedPreferred background may include engineering, project management, building operator, technician, installation supervisor, or software support.
