Workforce Development Specialist

NV3C is hiring a Workforce Development Specialist to support workforce pipeline programs, community outreach, and career pathway initiatives for students, job seekers, and community partner organizations. This position will directly support elevating awareness and access to sustainable careers in the building construction industry. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport workforce development programs and partnershipsRepresent NV3C at K–12 career fairs and community eventsConduct outreach, guest speaking, and follow‑up with career leadsMaintain workforce, education, and member contact databasesSupport initiatives to expand awareness and access to careers in the construction tradesAssist with membership engagementManage social media posts and maintain website resourcesQualificationsExperience in workforce development, education, nonprofit, or outreachStrong communication and organizational skillsFlexible & self-directedComfort working with schools, community partners, and private sector leadershipWorking knowledge/Interest in expanding awareness of construction careersBi-lingual (Spanish) preferredApply·      To apply, or for more information:o  Submit resume and brief statement of interest to Michelle Cribbs: Michelle@NV3C.org Compensation·      Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; final compensation will reflect the candidate’s background and qualifications.The Northern Virginia Construction Council (NV3C) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
