These responsibilities include all shipping, receiving, stocking, issuing, security, cycle counting, and proper disposal of all aircraft parts and related materials.Essential Roles and Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Perform shipping of all outgoing materials and ensuring compliance of paperwork retention; such as electronically filing shipping documents for all outgoing hazardous shipmentsPerform initial receiving of all incoming materialsMonitor all loans, borrows, and exchanges to ensure they are processed and returned expeditiously, while ensuring cores meet contract return requirementsCommunicate order receiving discrepancies to the appropriate Buyer/Repair Coordinator for proper resolutionIssue materials in accordance with Sun Country Airlines' policy and procedures to maintain inventory accuracyEnsure parts returned to Materials are properly tagged and identified by Maintenance as serviceable or unserviceable Perform cycle countsReturn parts to stock in accordance with Sun Country Airlines' policy and proceduresAdministration and tracking of material allocated to outstations, fly-away kits, COMAT, consignment inventory, and off-site storage facilitiesEnsure parts are stored properly to prevent damage and contaminationResponsible for physical removal of all monthly shelf-life expired items from inventoryMaintain files with current revision of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Conduct all tasks in a safe and efficient manner complying with all local, state, and federal safety and health regulatory requirements, programmatic standards, and with any internal policies and procedures identified by Sun Country AirlinesOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:High School diplomaValid driver’s license is requiredMust be able to obtain MSP SIDA badgeProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationsAbility to work independently without supervisionAbility to read, write and understand EnglishVery good oral and written communication and problem-solving skillsUniform is required, provided by SCAAbility to work a variety of hours including weekdays and weekends. This position works a shift schedule, 12-hour day or evening shift, rotating four days on and four days off; subject to change based on operational requirements. Shifts are assigned by bid process and awarded based on seniorityPreferred Qualifications:Two years of previous experience with inventory control and warehouse operations. Compensation:$21.50 USD per hour. This is the base compensation hiring range for this role.Classification: Full-Time, Non-ExemptWork Location:Minneapolis, MNSupervisory Responsibility:NoneWork Environment:This job works in a hangar and stockroom, which are subject to dust and noise due to their close proximity of airport runways and hangar operations. This position also must work in inclement weather conditions.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
