Product Engineer Specialist - Valves

SummaryThe Product Specialist is responsible to support the long-term competitive strategy for a product line. The Product Specialist’s role is to provide product support to customers and fields sales. This position maintains integrity and accuracy of product data, with the overall goal of growing a product line to ensure business goals are achieved.What You'll DoProvide product support to customers and field sales organization by answering technical/application/customer specification questions within agreed-upon time frame.Maintain integrity and accuracy of product data and product documentation ensuring product fact book and product catalogues are up to dateProvide coordination and support of product quality cases utilizing product knowledge and product application expertise.Coordinate and support product set up and product changes in SAP and PIM.Work closely with cross functional teams including Product Management, Sales, Logistics, planning, Production, Customization.Collect marketing information including: competitive benchmarks, trends, opportunities, and customer expectations.Work closely with Marketing to create or update product support literature and implement promotional strategies.Maintain an excellent perception of products in the marketplace (quality, innovation, and price)Ensure application excellence of all Belimo products.Who You AreBachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and technical/professional experience.1+ years of experience in product or marketing positionHVAC or related industry experience a plusStrong technical aptitude with ability to understand and master product applicationsDemonstrated initiative, persuasiveness, and creative problem solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.Proficient use of word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and E-mail softwareTravel requirements of position is approximately 15%.Who We AreAt Belimo, we take pride in making our company a rewarding place to work. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000 - $95,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
