Project Manager I

Summary: Responsible for preparing full estimates on projects as required by client's documents, provide complete conceptual and total bid price.Role and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Review and evaluate (along with Estimator) jobs to bidReview estimates over $50,000 with EstimatorsReview contract to get appropriate forms and submittals issuedCheck cut lists, metal orders, and glass ordersProvide support and direction for Project Management staffOversee architectural reviews between PM and DafterPrepare daily work tickets and installation orders for the field installation crewsWork with Manager to develop weekly schedule and manpower requirements for future projectsWork with Manager, PM staff and field to help maintain labor tracking. Provide any additional training requiredWork with cERP implementation teamWork with LogiKal and/or help develop another potential program for estimating and fabricationAssist Manager with quality control continuous improvement plansWork with Shop Lead to maintain inventories of break metal, screws, shims, equipment maintenance tools, and training needsIssue purchase orders for booking glass and metalReview completed shop drawings and submit to general contractorsReceive approved shop drawings and order materialsVerify rough openings at job site for revisionsMake cut list for fabrication of metal in shopInstruct glaziers of proper installation procedures at job sitesHandle change orders for jobHours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pmEducation Requirements: Associates Degree in related field preferred. High School Diploma or three to five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Qualifications: Must have working knowledge of computers and experience with Auto Cad, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel and have a valid driver's license. Applicant must be organized and be able to direct a project to completion.
