Outside Sales Representative

JOB TITLE: Outside Sales Representative DEPARTMENT: Residential Service Department DESCRIPTION: Southport is looking for an energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team! This position will establish customer relationships with new and existing customers to sell the right HVAC products and services. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish customer relationships to sell the right products and services Create sales proposals that are accurate and complete, that can be easily transferred to Southport’s installation team Develop relationships with potential customers, negotiate sales and close the sale Get potential customers excited about Southport and encourage them to spread the word about Southport and our locations Execute on aggressive sales plans and propose expansions Participate in trainings, meetings and company events/home shows Perform all other duties assigned to this role QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s License Exceptional follow-through abilities, presentation, and public speaking skills HVAC experience preferred but not required Outside Sales requires traveling Late afternoon, evening, and weekend availability Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Well organized Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
