Locum Tenens Opportunity - Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Near HAVANA, AR Facility: Leading Healthcare System Assignment Type: 12-hour shifts, Days Start Date: September 12, 2023 End Date: Ongoing Specialty: Emergency Medicine Coverage Required: Emergency Department coverage Shift Type: 10a-10p, 12-hour shifts Weekend Requirements: Yes Certification Requirements: Board Certified Emergency Medicine (Required) Active Arkansas License (Highly preferred, will consider providers needing to obtain AR license) Emergency Medicine Residency (Required) ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP & DEA (Required) COVID Vaccinated (Required) Practice Setting: Level II Trauma Center Emergency Department Procedures: Laceration repair, abscess I/D, thoracostomy, thoracotomy, trauma management, lumbar puncture, code management, EKG interpretation, intubation and airway management, uncomplicated ortho reductions, central venous access, ACLS, moderate sedation, uncomplicated epistaxis management, and other common emergency medicine procedures. Average Patients per Day: Approximately 20 EMR: Epic Support Staff: 12 hours of APP coverage, Various Specialist Consults available Additional Facility Details: 25 ED beds No scribe coverage Level II Trauma Center serving the SW region of the state Credentialing Information: Timeframe: A couple of weeks if locum has AR license Credentialing with other facilities: No Rates to Submit: Malpractice Rates (per CS guidelines) Hourly Rate (per hour, no OT) Holiday rates (1.5x the regular rate) For more information and to apply, please contact HDA at or email us at .
