There are an average of 20-22 patients per shift. The coverage needed includes full-time clinic hours Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with hospital call from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a 1:3 rotation, starting February 2, 2026, with the first day allowing for orientation and likely ongoing for a minimum of three months; providers will round approximately 30 minutes to one hour daily for patients in labor and delivery or postpartum, must document patient contact hours including call-back hours on their timesheets with supporting notes sufficient for validation in an audit, and only on-site call-back hours are included, while telephone calls and medical record reviews are excluded; physicians are not required to remain on-site while providing call support, and coverage includes competencies in NRP and fetal heart monitoring.
