Check out our web page https://www.inproduction.com/ InProduction is seeking a highly skilled Technical Designer proficient in Autodesk Revit to support the design, documentation, and execution of complex temporary and permanent event structures. This role plays a critical part in translating conceptual designs into accurate, build ready construction documents while coordinating closely with engineering, fabrication, and project management teams.The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment supporting large scale live events, sporting venues, and specialty structures.Key Responsibilities :Develop detailed Revit models and construction drawings that are code compliant, fabrication ready, and installation-accurateTranslate design concepts, engineering inputs, and field requirements into fully coordinated drawing packagesMaintain and manage Revit models, including families, templates, views, and sheetsCoordinate with engineering, project management, CAD/design teams, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycleRevise and update drawings efficiently to reflect design changes, RFIs, and site conditionsParticipate in design reviews, production meetings, and project handoff meetingsEnsure drawing accuracy, dimensional integrity, and constructabilitySupport QA/QC processes for drawing deliverables and model standardsContribute to continuous improvement of design workflows, standards, and Revit best practicesRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Proven professional experience as a Technical Designer, BIM Designer, or Revit DesignerAdvanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit (architecture or structure focused)Strong understanding of construction documentation standards and coordinationExcellent spatial reasoning and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplinesProficiency with Windows-based PC environments and Microsoft OfficePreferred / Plus Qualifications:Experience in temporary structures, event infrastructure, staging, seating, or modular constructionFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or related Autodesk platformsUnderstanding of fabrication workflows and constructabilityExperience working with engineers and structural calculationsKnowledge of BIM standards, model coordination, and drawing controlAbility to support 2D and 3D workflows across multiple software platformsEducation & ExperienceAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Design, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred5 to 10 years of Revit experienceEquivalent industry experience will be considered in lieu of formal educationWork Environment & RequirementsFast-paced, project driven environmentBackground check and drug screening requiredSome travel and flexible working hours may be required based on project demandsCompensation : $80 K- 105 K BenefitsCompetitive compensationHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays401(k) plan with company matchOpportunity to work on high profile national events and venues
