We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer with 3-5 years of experience to join our growing team. Position Overview: The Interior Designer will play a crucial role in our design team, contributing to various residential projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential design. Experience working with builders, or in kitchen and bath design is a plus. Proficiency in design software, particularly Chief Architect, is preferred. Key Responsibilities: Research and Concept Development: Work with team to understand project preferences, needs and budget. Provide expert advice on design concepts, materials, color schemes, and furniture. Develop and present concept boards that align with client goals. Design Development and Drawings: Create detailed design plans, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings. Develop, source and specify materials, finishes, and furnishings for residential spaces. Work within timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Project Management: Collaborate with builders, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design plans are executed correctly. Assist in the procurement of materials and furnishing as needed. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during the implementation phase. Software Proficiency: Utilize Chief Architect software to create detailed design plans and visualizations. Stay updated on the latest design software and technology trends to enhance project outcomes. Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and updates. Address client feedback and make adjustments to designs as necessary to ensure satisfaction. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is preferred Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in residential interior design. Skills: Proven experience with residential design projects, including working with builders and on kitchen and bath designs. Proficiency in Chief Architect software or similar design programs. Strong portfolio is required. Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and industry trends. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
