Your day-to-day will involve handling routine tasks with minimal need for evaluative decisions, resolving common issues, and referring more complex matters to a higher authority. Regular interaction with both internal and external clients will be a key part of your role to obtain, clarify, or provide vital information.Key Responsibilities:Obtain required loan documentation and process less complex loan applications.Order and track credit verifications and third-party services, ensuring the timely receipt of legal documents.Verify and follow up on loan files and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.Monitor and maintain loan files, ensuring adequate documentation for third-party reviews and audits.Assist customers with basic inquiries or problems, maintaining adherence to loan processing policies and procedures.Must-Have Skills:Proficiency in processing retail loan applications and document preparation.Understanding of compliance with state and federal regulations.Strong organizational skills to manage and track detailed tasks in a fast-paced environment.Industry Experience Required:Minimum 1-2 years of experience in residential loan processing (no commercial experience required).Familiarity with the basic concepts, practices, and procedures of commercial and retail loan processing.This is a hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ, requiring four days on-site weekly. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent and exhibit a high level of customer service and professionalism.
