Job Description -Claims Center Business Analystmust be local to lake mary, FLWhat You Can Expect As a Business Analyst II Work with major functional areas of the business to understand and document change requests submitted to the IT organization Demonstrate knowledge of integrations with internal and external applications; Research dependencies and collaborate with solution architects and developers on system design plans Review and analyze how changes to business processes and/or business needs impact technical requirements across systems and the organization Shepherd ideas through the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure business processes and system changes are documented, developed, tested, and successfully promoted Create Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), use cases, technical requirements, wireframes, system flow diagrams, and other documentation for Guidewire configurations and custom software development projects Clarify requirements prior to delivery of documentation to the Application Delivery team Become a subject matter expert on Guidewire systems and system implementations Partner with Operations teams to triage production issues prior to development involvement Serve as the liaison between functional leads, development teams, and support teams Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go-live activities as needed Collaborate with QA teams to ensure test cases are current, accurate, and cover alternative paths for existing and new system functionalityRequirements 4+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst on Guidewire ClaimCenter projects, including claims lifecycle, integrations, out-of-the-box functionality, product model, business rules, and incident troubleshooting Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies Proven ability to write detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), use cases, and wireframes Experience using defect and ticketing tools such as Rally, JIRA, or similar platforms to document requirements, user stories, and defects Experience working daily within cross-functional teams Strong negotiation and facilitation skills to drive consensus across departments with competing or inconsistent requirements Proficiency using browser-based web development tools
