Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Phlebotomy Technician based in Los Angeles, CA. The Phlebotomy Technician will be responsible for collecting blood samples via venipuncture and other techniques, preparing laboratory specimens, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to all safety and quality standards. Providing excellent customer service to patients and collaborating effectively with laboratory and medical teams will be essential components of this role. Qualifications Proficient in Venipuncture and general Laboratory SkillsKnowledge of Medical Terminology and Laboratory MedicineStrong Customer Service skills to ensure positive patient interactionsAttention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and specimen handlingHigh school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized Phlebotomy Technician program is requiredNational certification (such as NHA or ASCP) is preferredAbility to work effectively as part of a healthcare teamCommitment to safety protocols and bloodborne pathogen standards
