This position offers a four-day work week, M-Th, 10 hours per day.1st Shift 6:00 am - 4:00 pm 2nd Shift, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am.We are currently offering a Sign-on Bonus of $1,000, paid out as follows: 90 days=$250, 180 days=$250, 1 year=$500Thermal Press OperatorReports To: Plant Manager or DesigneeLocation: Export, PAJob Summary: Thermal Press Operators produce a final product from raw materials, using precise weights and measurements.Primary Responsibilities: Perform Safety Preflight checks, maintain work area using 5S practices, run 3-5 presses per press set, quality control, enter correct production quantities in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database.Responsibilities:Read and follow production scheduleMeet standardized performance levelsOperate pressesRecord production and scrap quantities in ERP databasePerform short-interval quality control checks as requiredVisually inspect wheels for defects, segregating defects into proper containersFile raised mould lines as necessarySeparate moulded wheels by part number into proper containersPerform safety and end of shift requirements following 5S practicesAbides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulationsPerforms other related duties as assignedSkills/Requirements:Must be able to stand or walk for 10 hours per shift (four shifts per week)Lift up to thirty poundsBasic reading and comprehensionKnowledge of Epicor preferred but not requiredBasic computer skillsEducation/Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent required
