Collaborates with family and community in the education of students8. Recognizes, appreciates, and employs cultural, ethnic, and social differences in students9. Follows all directives of immediate supervisor and Morgan County School Board policy in regard to professional conduct, duties, and responsibilitiesEssential Functions:1. Reads, speaks, and understands at professional level2. Organizes and effectively manages all classroom reports and communications3. Develops, documents, and implements appropriate lesson plans4. Engages in continuous professional development that enhances personal knowledge and self-improvement5. Creates and maintains an active classroom management plan6. Develops and maintains an effective classroom discipline plan7. Participates actively in school activities and leadership roles that promote the school and school system8. Collaborates with parents, community, colleagues and supervisors9. Maintains safe and orderly classroom physical environment10. Possesses physically ability to navigate the school and classroom11. Performs such other duties as may be assigned by his/her supervisor.Other Attributes:1. Is well-groomed and appropriately dressed2.
