Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Location:A suburban city in Michigan approximately 50 miles north of Detroit. Known for its small-town charm, excellent schools, and family-friendly atmosphere, this city offers a mix of residential neighborhoods, parks, and local businesses.Facility:A state-of-the-art academic hospital and research center located in Detroit s New Center area. The 877-bed hospital is recognized for clinical excellence in the fields of cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics and sports medicine, transplant, and cancer.Opportunity: Seeking 1-2 CRNA's to join their team! Dates of coverage: July start Need for 1-2 additional CRNAs Priority is given to candidates available for full-time coverage. Reason for coverage: Four maternity leaves (July-September) and short staffing. Practice setting: Hospital-based. Schedule: Monday-Friday day shifts; open to 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts. Locums typically do not take call. Documentation system: Paper charts- No EMR CRNA role: Team approach with a lot of independence; may supervise or have CRNA students shadow. Average surgical cases per day: 30-50 cases. OR staff: SAA, surgeon, CRNA. Number of operating rooms: 22. Candidate requirements: Prefer experienced candidates but willing to train on harder cases if needed. Patient demographic: Typically adults. Procedures required: General surgical cases (adult) and IV regional anesthesia. CRNAs put in their own lines and perform regional anesthesia, which is preferred but not required. Case types: General anesthesia, local cases, healthy neuro, ortho, spinals, OB, GYN, urology. Limited pediatric cases due to lack of a dedicated department. Rare dental cases (approximately one day per month). No cardiac cases. Compensation:Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.by Jobble
