Production Manager (Manufacturing Experience Required)Location: Corona, CAShift: First Shift | 5:30 AM - 3:00 PMDepartment: OperationsClassification: Full-Time, ExemptCompensation: $75,000 - $100,000 annually (DOE)Reports To: Vice President of OperationsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead first-shift manufacturing and packaging operations. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with strong floor presence who excels in fast-paced environments and drives improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.The Production Manager oversees daily production activities, manages multiple production lines, develops frontline leaders, and drives continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business and financial goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targetsDrive performance across KPIs including OTD, OEE, throughput, downtime, labor efficiency, and marginMaintain strong floor presence to resolve issues and improve real-time performanceChampion safety, regulatory compliance, and incident preventionLead lean and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, waste reduction)Partner with planning and scheduling to optimize capacity and on-time deliveryBuild, coach, and develop production supervisors and teamsManage labor planning, overtime, and operational costsEnsure equipment readiness and support preventive maintenance effortsQualifications- Required5+ years of manufacturing leadership experienceProven success leading multiple production lines and frontline teamsStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvementExperience managing labor, productivity, and cost controlsERP and production reporting experiencePreferredBachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or related fieldLean or Six Sigma certificationExperience in packaging, food, consumer goods, or high-speed manufacturingAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
