ADP Payroll Consultant
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced ADP Workforce Now Payroll Processing Consultant to join our client's team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a payroll professional with strong hands-on experience processing multi-state payroll in ADP Workforce Now, along with advanced Excel skills and a sharp eye for accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.This position will play a key role in supporting payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance across multiple states, and helping improve payroll-related reporting and workflows.Key Responsibilities:Process end-to-end payroll accurately and on time using ADP Workforce NowManage multi-state payroll processing, including applicable tax, wage, and compliance requirementsBi-weekly pay for ~3k employeesReview and audit payroll data for accuracy, completeness, and complianceValidate time and attendance data, deductions, garnishments, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll inputsResearch and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee inquiries, and tax-related issuesMaintain payroll records and support payroll reporting needsUse Excel to analyze payroll data, reconcile reports, identify trends, and support auditsPartner with HR, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operationsAssist with payroll process documentation, clean-up, and improvement initiativesSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll activities as neededHelp ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of payroll processing experienceStrong, recent hands-on experience with ADP Workforce NowProven experience processing multi-state payrollStrong Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, sorting, and reconciliationsStrong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements across multiple statesHigh attention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage deadlines effectivelyStrong communication and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with payroll audits, reconciliations, and reportingCPP certification is a plusExperience supporting payroll process improvements or system optimization is a plusDetails:1099 or C2C, pay is hourly and DOETemp to hire possibility40 hour/week, to start immediately
