Lifeguards - 2026 Summer Season
Job Summary
Under general supervision of the pool manager, lifeguards are responsible for the safety of pool patrons by preventing accidents and responding quickly to emergency situations. Must be able to perform all skills required for certifications. Must follow and enforce all pool policies and rules at all times. Performs routine maintenance to pool area. Provides general facility maintenance and cleanliness including cleaning restrooms, the pool, pool equipment, and pool deck areas.

Must be 16 years of age or older.
Must have or be able to obtain Basic Lifeguard Certification, CPR, AED and First Aid Certification. Parks & Recreation will pay for certification training for individuals who meet all required qualifications.
Must be able to work as assigned throughout the 7-day work week and work for the entire duration of the pool season.
Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
Maintain a 100% drug- and alcohol-free workplace
All jobs require the applicant to pass a criminal history check and work fitness physical and drug screen.
