Logistics Clerk
Performs administrative duties related to Logistics including obtaining freight rate quotes, maintaining shipping reports and shipping configurations, processing of invoices from vendors, machine delivery instructions, reservations, and quantity movement of equipment in Syteline. Temp-to-hire.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists with reservations of equipment to customer orders
Reviews, updates, and maintains Traffic reports
Verifies accuracy of Reservations & Traffic Details report (monthly shipping log)
Checks availability of serialized machinery and accessories in Syteline
Reconciles with related reports
Checks customer orders with Prepaid shipping terms
Checks sales invoicing of freight in the customer order or if to be separately debited
Processes and submits freight related invoices to Acct for payment
Assists the Logistics team with obtaining freight rate quotes for customers
Assists with freight billing issues
Updates shipping configurations of equipment in Syteline (weights and dimensions)
Processes quantity move of equipment and components in Syteline as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned by management and filing of department documents as needed
Supports the Branch office and/or other departments with Syteline inquiries as needed
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Prepares special reports as needed
Assists in miscellaneous duties within the company

SKILLS:
Detail Oriented and Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (word processing & spreadsheets) and Infor Syteline a plus
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
PAY RANGE: $21.00-$22.00/HR
TRAVEL:
Very little travel. Travel may be required during physical inventory.

Ability to accept and follow instructions
Ability to coordinate several priorities at one time.
