Job Description
Key Responsibilities include:Electrical educational backgroundState-licensed Electrical Inspector (or equivalent experience)NICET Level II–IV (Electrical) — highly desirable, CompEx (if available)LNG Project experienceKnowledge and experience of working with NEC (NFPA 70, 59A), IEEE Standards (e.g., 80 grounding, 142, 1584 arc flash), API RP 540 / 500 / 505UL / FM equipment certification knowledge, experience on Inspection of Ex-rated equipment (XP, IS)Knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, MCCs, Transformers, Motors (HV/LV), UPS, batteries, emergency power systems, Heat tracing (electrical)Awareness of Instrument power and interface with E&I systemsExperience working for the OwnerUnderstanding of the Quality Management PrinciplesIntermediate IT Skills.Experience in fabrication / manufacturing inspectionsWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation or Power EngineeringMinimum 5 years of experience in similar inspection rolesStrong background in fabrication inspectionsExpertise in Electrical/Instrumentation inspection per relevant codesIn-depth knowledge of international codes and standardsProven ability to apply codes, standards, and project specificationsLOCAL ONLYCompany DescriptionCreated in 1828, Bureau Veritas is a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), delivering high quality services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection, and social responsibility.
