Senior Account Executive, Key Accounts
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly driven and relationship-focused Senior Account Executive to lead and grow our most important customer accounts. This role is responsible for managing strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, overseeing account execution, and serving as the primary point of contact for key clients.The ideal candidate combines strong sales instincts with exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills. They should be comfortable leading meetings, managing complex timelines, collaborating cross-functionally with design and production teams, and identifying opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.This role is critical to maintaining long-term client relationships while helping scale the company’s growth.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management & Client RelationshipsServe as the lead point of contact for assigned key accountsBuild and maintain strong long-term relationships with buyers and decision-makersLead client meetings, presentations, seasonal reviews, and strategic discussionsMaintain consistent communication with accounts regarding timelines, product development, pricing, and delivery updatesEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and account retentionSales & Revenue GrowthDrive sales growth within existing accounts through upselling and expansion opportunitiesIdentify new business opportunities within strategic retail and wholesale partnersDevelop and execute account growth strategies aligned with company goalsMonitor sales performance and proactively address opportunities or risksSupport forecasting and seasonal sales planningCross-Functional CoordinationPartner closely with design, production, operations, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of orders and programsHelp manage development calendars, approvals, and delivery timelinesCoordinate internally to resolve issues related to production, shipping, inventory, or customer needsAdvocate for client priorities while balancing company objectives and operational realitiesLeadership & Strategic ContributionHelp establish processes and standards for account management as the company scalesMentor junior sales or account management team members when applicableProvide market feedback, customer insights, and competitive analysis to leadershipContribute to overall sales strategy and brand growth initiativesQualifications5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development in fashion apparelExperience working with retail, wholesale, or private label accountsFamiliarity with apparel production calendars and development timelinesUnderstanding of merchandising, costing, and product lifecycle processesExisting relationships within the fashion or activewear industry are a plusExperience managing large or strategic accounts preferredStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and negotiation abilitiesExperience working cross-functionally with product/design/operations teams preferredProficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, CRM systems, and order management toolsCompensation + BenefitsCompensation: $100,000+ (Negotiable based on experience)Health benefits (if applicable)PTO and paid holidaysCareer growth opportunities within a fast-growing companyIdeal TraitsRelationship-first mindsetProactive and solutions-orientedStrong sense of ownership and accountabilityCalm under pressure and highly adaptableProfessional, polished, and confident in front of clientsTeam-oriented with leadership potential
