We are seeking a highly skilled Exstream Tool Support & Integration Specialist to lead and support the ongoing upgrade, maintenance, and performance optimization of enterprise communication systems, particularly those using OpenText Exstream. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java/Microservices integration, API development, and familiarity with IRS business processes including the Notice Lifecycle.Lead Exstream software upgrades, including migration from version 24.x to the latest release, ensuring architecture enhancements for improved system performanceEnsure compatibility of Exstream with Notice Conversion file output, including seamless delivery of WebApp-generated PDFsProvide integration and support for Java/Microservices-based tools, APIs, and cloud environments within the IRS Notice Lifecycle ecosystemExecute infrastructure support tasks including: Security scanning and compliance (e.g., Qualys, Splunk)SSL certificate renewals and filing season readinessTransition Exstream to a production-level license configuration and scale system performance based on 6–12 months of production transaction dataSupport HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) compliance for Exstream Desktop Designer product requestsPlan and manage the procurement and renewal of annual maintenance contracts for OpenText productsDeliver ongoing operations and maintenance support, including software patching, cybersecurity defect remediation, and system troubleshootingProvide guidance and support for related initiatives, such as NOTCON efforts linked to END-CCS and the AUR (Automated Underreporter) Notices integration into ExstreamWork with workflow management tools and enterprise software such as IRWorks, ServiceNow, Splunk, Microsoft Project, and the IBM Rational Tool SuiteProven experience with Exstream (OpenText) software, including upgrade, configuration, and performance tuningStrong background in Java/Microservices architecture, API integration, and cloud platformsFamiliarity with federal government business processes, particularly IRS notice systems and lifecycleExperience supporting enterprise-level infrastructure, including security compliance tools like Splunk and QualysKnowledge of license management, performance scaling, and enterprise-level document production workflowsStrong organizational and analytical skills with an ability to manage multiple technical tasks simultaneouslyExperience in government or regulated environments (IRS or federal agency experience highly preferred)Security and compliance knowledge (HSPD-12, FedRAMP, FISMA)Relevant certifications (e.g., OpenText certifications, PMP, CISSP, AWS/Azure cloud certs)
