Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

Overview:Responsible for the preparation of both internal and external reports including regulatory and SEC filings.ResponsibilitiesComplete regulatory reporting filings such as call reports, FR Y-9LP, FR Y-9C, FR Y-6, FR Y-10 etc. assist in implementing solutions for process improvement, and maintain documentation of process and proceduresPrepare monthly/quarterly risk-based capital ratios and support all aspects of compliance of regulatory capital rulesPrepare monthly stock-based compensation entries and support all aspects of stock-based compensation accountingParticipate in all aspects of quarterly/annual SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, 11-K and other SEC filings) including the revamp of certain sections as assigned; Work paper/electronic compilation and tie-out; Integrating comments provided by colleagues and interacting with business leaders to ensure accurate filings; XBRL tagging of the Financial Statements and Footnotes; Managing the SEC reporting software (Workiva); Completing GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists; assist with development of ESG reporting process.Provide audit, accounting, and compliance support by satisfying all requests timely and accurately with requested informationIndependently research accounting and disclosure-related matters and incorporate new GAAP/SEC reporting requirements into filings and recommend improvements to existing disclosures to ensure compliance and effectivenessCommunicate with external and internal auditors regarding financial reporting mattersPrepare various schedules for internal reporting requirements including the monthly Board packagePrepare and review various schedules and reports for internal users and external auditors, and assist in the audit of financial statements and related footnotesPerform and complete ad-hoc analyses and projects as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and at least 4 years public accounting and/or financial reporting experience.CPA license or MBA preferredBanking/financial institution experience is preferred.Experienced in banking risk-based capital preparation is a plusSolid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and conceptsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; including research skills regarding current and prospective updates to SEC disclosure requirements and regulatory reportingDemonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervisionProven ability to perform under pressure and to adjust plans to meet changing needs and requirementsExcellent team player who can build and leverage working relationshipsExperience with PeopleSoft GL and Workiva softwareProficient in Microsoft ExcelMany of our job openings can be viewed at https://jobs.crelate.com/portal/consultativesgCompensation:$100,000-$110,000 per year
