Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Position OverviewTriumph is seeking a motivated and aspiring Manufacturing Engineering Intern to work closely with our experienced manufacturing engineers, supporting various process improvement projects within our organization. This internship provides a unique hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a student eager to apply their academic knowledge to solve real-world manufacturing challenges and contribute to impactful projects.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design of equipment storage for tools, fixtures, and products used in manufacturing.Assist in the optimization of the manufacturing environment to reduce waste.Assist in the creation of manufacturing documentation Help identify opportunities for improvement of manufacturing processes.Contribute to maintaining high safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing floor.QualificationsCurrently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field from a college or university.Strong academic record (e.g., minimum GPA of 3.0 or as specified by the company).Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk, etc.).Basic understanding of common shop tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Effective written and verbal communication skills.Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
