Responsibilities:
Review, analyze, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions in support of defense-related contracts, subcontracts, modifications, and other agreements
Ensure compliance with applicable federal acquisition requirements, including FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific clauses
Identify, assess, and communicate contractual risks and recommend mitigation strategies to legal, compliance, and business stakeholders
Serve as a subject matter expert on contract terms interpretation, flow-down requirements, and regulatory compliance
Collaborate closely with legal counsel and procurement
Monitor regulatory changes impacting defense contracts and advise leadership on required updates
Assist with internal training related to federal contracting requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, law, supply chain, or finance
Ability to interpret complex regulatory and contractual language
Experience working cross-functionally in a regulated environment
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
Applicant must possess or be able to secure secret or higher DOD clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
2 - 9 years of demonstrated contract experience such as Contract Management, Compliance/Regulatory Experience
Familiarity with government proposal and subcontract management processes
Experience reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions in a defense or federal contracting environment
Knowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Export Administration Regulation (EAR), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other import/export regulations
