Shipping Clerk/ Coordinator - Day Shift (NVD)

Job FunctionAs a Shipping Coordinator, you will play a key role in executing the daily shipment schedule and ensuring accurate, timely outbound shipments. You will verify and maintain records for all outgoing goods and ensure accuracy by comparing identifying information—such as counts, weights, and measurements—against bills of lading, invoices, and other records. This role requires strong attention to detail, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.This is a full-time, contractor position with a possibility of conversion after 6 months.ResponsibilitiesExecute and follow up on daily shipping targets based on variable schedules and requestsMonitor all outgoing shipments and update tracking tools and systems in real timeMaintain daily shipping logs to ensure all transactions are accurate, documented, and properly closedPromptly report any discrepancies to the Supervisor and Program Management teamEnsure compliance with C-TPAT requirements and company shipping standardsSupport timely and cost-effective delivery of materials while maintaining quality and safety practices, including identifying suspicious or non-conforming materials and ensuring proper handlingCoordinate with shipping carriers, internal departments, and external customers to ensure on-time and accurate shipmentsUse Shop Floor Control (SFC) and other systems to track product movement, ensuring all updates are accurately reflected in the system or trackerPrioritize and manage international shipments and urgent requests throughout the dayFollow up on shipment-related issues and drive them to full resolutionSkillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailBasic mathematical abilitiesProficiency with computers and inventory/shipping tracking toolsSAP experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication and teamwork skillsStrong problem-solving abilitiesAbility to follow instructions accuratelyDangerous Goods (DG) certification is a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.QualificationsEducation: B.A./B.S. or the equivalentExperience: Minimum of 2 years of shipping experience in manufacturing settingsLanguage: English proficiency required, Mandarin is a plusPay rate: $20/h - $23/hFoxconn Assembly, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).  All qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or marital status in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. Foxconn Assembly, LLC participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
