We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic APP to join a dynamic team, supporting renowned surgeons with a primary focus on vein harvesting!Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.This is a 100% OR position with flexible 3x12s scheduling and a light call load!Philadelphia offers a rich blend of history, culture, and modern amenities. Affordable living, a thriving arts scene, and abundant green spaces make Philadelphia a great place to call home.Key Responsibilities:- Assisting in cardiothoracic surgeries.- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) and radial artery harvesting.- Handle vein harvesting, patient closure, and post-operative care.- Work with 5 APPs and 5 surgeons for seamless patient care.- Participate in aortic surgeries, mitral valve replacements, minimally invasive procedures, CABG surgeries, etc.- Flexible 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, willing to be flexible on blocks/ how the days are split up.Qualifications- At least 3 years of experience as a Cardiothoracic APP.- Proficiency in EVH and open radial artery harvesting.- Strong CVOR surgical assisting skills.- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.- Ability to thrive in a high-volume surgical environment.- Dedication to top-tier patient care and safety.Benefits:- Competitive relocation and retention bonuses.- Exempt excessive time pay (similar to overtime) for hours beyond 36 per week.- Work with an experienced team, all with 5+ years of experience.- Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.About Us:Palm Health Resources is a healthcare recruiting firm determined to provide customized recruitment solutions for the healthcare profession.
