Your focus will be on accurate order processing in our MRP system and clear communication of shipping schedules and customer requirements across RS.You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, translate customer needs into actionable plans, and make sure orders are delivered on time. From managing order flow to coordinating shipments, you'll play a vital role in keeping our operations seamless and maintaining our commitment to customers.At RS, you'll gain exposure to all areas of the business, build strong cross-functional relationships, and contribute to a resilient, high-performing team.What You Will DoReview incoming sales orders and create jobs/templates to meet production and shipping requirementsDevelop and communicate production schedules for Order Prep, inputting sequenced build plans in EpicorPrepare detailed shipping schedules including truck timing and load informationCoordinate transportation and communicate shipment updates to supervisors, Order Prep staff, and team membersEnsure completion of all shipping and customs documentationOversee accurate reporting of production and shipments in EpicorMonitor inventory levels to meet production and customer deadlinesAssist in project planning, including packaging and component storageProvide coverage for Shipping Coordinator as neededMaintain a basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems (Epicor)Participate in continuous improvement initiativesPerform other duties as assignedWhat You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required2+ years of shipping or shipping administration experienceStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skillsFamiliarity with ERP/MRP systems (RS currently uses Epicor)What We OfferCompetitive salary with performance-based incentivesComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefitsRetirement savings plan with company contributionsEmployer-paid life and short-term disability insuranceOptional additional coverage (life, long-term disability)Generous paid time off and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Opportunities for professional growth within a global, forward-thinking companyWHY JOIN US?At RS, you'll play a crucial role in helping utilities strengthen the resilience and sustainability of the power grid.
