Project Estimator

Project Estimator Fusco Personnel is seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator to join a growing, industry-leading organization in the construction sector. This role is ideal for a driven professional who excels at analyzing project requirements, developing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Estimator will play a critical role in both pre-construction planning and ongoing project oversight, helping to drive efficiency, cost control, and overall project success. Primary Duties Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate quantitative take-offs. Utilize estimating software and tools to calculate costs and generate detailed pricing breakdowns. Oversee projects to ensure adherence to budget constraints and project timelines. Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and compliance standards. Collaborate with clients, construction managers, planners, and design teams throughout project lifecycles. Respond to requests for quotes and prepare comprehensive proposals for submission. Conduct risk assessments, including evaluation of safety requirements and production risks. Prepare reports and analyses to support financial planning and decision-making. Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications with a high degree of accuracy. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent certifications or experience will be considered. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an Estimator or Project Manager within the construction industry. Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam. Experience with detention equipment and installation is a plus.
